You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.

Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

SIXES

Cub Pack members are arranged into sixes, each named after a colour. Each ‘six’ member wears a woggle (the fastening for the neckerchief) of their ‘six’ colour and this is supplied at enrolment. Each ‘six’ consists of approx. six children, ranging in age with the sixer (six leader) helping the younger members.

Scouting is a uniformed organisation and Cubs are expected to wear their uniforms to all Pack meetings, when arriving and departing from events (camps etc) and for parades. They are encouraged to take a pride in their uniforms and do their best to look clean and smart. It is not necessary for them to have a uniform until they are enrolled.
